Background: Stark's canon background is still emerging, but there are some details that are clear. Stark is one of Aizen's Espada, the ten elite Arrancar who have the most power. His number is not yet known in canon, though it is clear that he is not 4, 6, 8, 9, or 10. Lilinet is his subordinate and preferred minion of choice. Stark’s rank will be filled in as soon as it becomes apparent. Prior to his transformation into an Arrancar, Stark spent his life as a vastrode lazing around and consuming only what was necessary to his comfortable survival. He did not venture out from Hueco Mundo, and was quite satisfied with his existence. Of course, existing as an Arrancar is fine too, and it makes certain comforts more accessible. Stark enjoys this existence as well, and he has no regrets. He has not found it difficult to be loyal to Aizen, as the man was responsible for granting him his transformation and his present position. It seems fair enough, and Stark is prepared to fight… if he has to.

Personality: In terms of personality, Stark is likely the most laid back of the Espada. He is often indifferent in appearance, but he is always observant beneath the surface. Sometimes he is genuinely bored, but other times, he simply isn’t interested in putting for the effort to make an interested expression. In manner, Stark is cool and calm for the most part. It is difficult to truly anger him. For this reason, he is at times cast as the arbiter of smaller disputes between the other Arrancar, things too petty for Aizen’s attention. Due to Stark’s usual detached manner, he is believed to view things impartially. He is lazy and enjoys sleep, particularly during the daylight hours, as he tends to be nocturnal. With someone he trusts like Lilinette, as crazy as she is, his manner would become lighter and more playful. He is intelligent and often quiet, with a wry incisive wit when he speaks. He can be cold and calculated if need be.

Abilities: Stark is clearly quite powerful, considering that he ranks somewhere among the top seven Espada. Because information is likely to be emerging on him in the next chapters, I am going to leave this open ended for now. If he requires a zanpakuto/release prior to its appearance in the manga, this may change, but otherwise, it will wait for the manga to fill in the blanks.
